As we go through our day-to-day life, we often run into daily stressors. This may be a full schedule during the work day, long homework assignments for school or things just don’t seem to be going your way.
Even though it may seem like we aren’t being affected by these stressors, as time goes on, the stress builds on and can negatively impact your work, schooling, or relationships.
There are many things that we can do in our lives to take a break from these stresses, figure out how to crush them, and come back better than before.
Stop the noise
We are often always plugged in and listening to either music, podcasts, or any type of noise. This puts our mind to work to focus on the words that are being said, beats playing, and throws new information into our head.
This never gives our mind a break on what we have going on, and how to face it head on to move past.
In short, mindfulness is being in the moment and focusing solely on what is going on right then.
This helps your mind create a straight path of thoughts to clear up what you’re going through.
There are many different art forms that have been proven to relieve stress, but some that work for others may not work for you.
Writing, drawing, painting, and graphic design all can help alleviate this stress. We can create a new hobby from this new art form, or just do it once in a while when you really need it.
Art creating should never be forced, and whatever mood you are in can drive what you create.
